Photography has been my passion since 10th grade. By 12th grade I had won my first International Photography competition and was hooked.

I studied Visual Communications in college, and went on to obtain my Professional Photography Degree from the New York Institute of Photography. I've been photographing professionally since 1992. My wife and I run a successful studio in Charleston...mostly photographing weddings, events, and portraits. But I also photograph a lot of editorial, fashion, and sports...where we often need models.

I'm also known for my creative lighting techniques, teaching Photography Workshops and Private Mentor Sessions to other photographers all over the country. We often need beautiful models for these programs.

In addition, I photograph a number of self-assignments, which is where I hone my craft and experiment with new cutting edge lighting techniques. Many of the conceptual images I create in these self-assignments end up in my portfolio. So I need excellent models for those as well.

I've primarily relied on past clients and my network of colleagues in the photo industry for recommendations on models. However, I'm finding a need to expand those options and locate new and interesting models to work with. I've heard excellent feedback about ModelMayhem and hope that joining this growing community will be mutually beneficial to my art and to the models that join me in this quest to create beautiful and dramatic images!
