About Me

Born and raised in San Francisco, California. I became interested in art at an early age but it was not until later that I began to study animation. I first studied the craft at the California State Summer School for the Arts (CSSSA), in Valencia, California. Later I continued studying the process while interning at Wild Brain Animation Studios as a high school student. I attended City College of San Francisco where I studied a variety of fine art techniques including classical Chinese brush painting. I went on to graduate from San Francisco State University where I completed my thesis film Fu-de. While there I received the Gordon Thomas Memorial Scholarship in Animation for 2008 as well as the prestigious Princess Grace Honorarium. Fude has since been screened at numerous local film festivals and won honors, including Best Emerging Film Maker at the 2011 Mendocino Film Festival. He has contributed storyboards to Google for their maps project video. As well as on the film Noche Sin Luna directed by Bethynia Cardenas and Gwilo, a student project produced by Distant Thunder Films. I am currently working as a freelance motion graphics artist and editor. I continue to reside in San Francisco, California.

I wish to use the huge resources of MM to further my fine art pursuits, in painting. Specifically for portrait work.
