From the Houston area, recently relocated to Jacksonville Beach until I attend SCAD in 2013 (UPDATE, perm in Savannah, GA as of 5/1/13). While I still plan to further my education, I was introduced to the "lens" prior to migrating from Houston and completely fell in love. Although it goes against my personality, I am conservative enough that when I went for my first photo shoot, I did feel a little nervous & timid. I have done promo/appearance work before, but I was always accompanied by other girls and the settings just needed me to be social (be myself) and do the few things they asked us to do.

I realize now modeling is the complete opposite. Here I was alone, the crowd now reduce to 4 people & I had no idea what I was supposed to do. Luckily, I was working with a professional who had encountered this before & he immediately put me at ease. I felt like I instantly took to his direction and soon found it thrilling to be in front of a lens instead of gawking bar crowds. While I get that some find me "pretty" it wasn't until my photoshoot that I felt beautiful. It came to me during the photoshoot & the result (regardless of what you may think) cemented it in my mind.

I know I am not a runway model & clearly not to everyone's taste, but I know I can make up for it with my passion and professionalism. At this time, I am really looking to work with experienced photographers and/or models who I can learn from. I do not seek compensation unless it requires travel or an extended time-commitment. Having recently moved, I have all the time in the world & am open to any ideas.

Well, that being said, I am fine with sexy shoots and implied nudity but nothing that can't be found in the mainstream newsstand magazines (Maxim). I am completely open to whatever the future may bring, but is not what I want to build a portfolio on. I can get myself anywhere within a 100 miles and am free whenever.
