Sean Griffin (b. 1949- ) is an award-winning American portrait, fine art and event photographer who recently departed the Pacific Northwest for the desert Southwest.

His work had been recognized by The Smithsonian and many others.

RATES
Sean's rates for 2024 are $250 per session, which typically lasts 3-4 hours. These rates are exclusive of travel expenses, if any.

TFP POLICY
Sean does TFP occasionally if any of the following criterion are present:
1) The subject is just trying to break into the modeling profession and appears to have promise, integrity and professionalism
2) The subject has come up with a compelling concept - especially if it will be a challenge to carry off
3) Sean sees a unique photographic or professional opportunity
4) Sean has collaborated successfully with the subject in the past and both parties share a desire to continue collaborating.

Professionalism is expected on both sides. In the cases of a TFP arrangement in which the model is a no-show and hasn't even had the courtesy to call, email or text the photographer at least one hour in advance, the model will be billed for two hours of the photographer's and studio time at the following rates:

Photographer: $90 / 90-minute session
Studio rental: $25 / 90-minute session
Equipment rental: $25 / 90-minute session

At these rates, a no-show with no advance notification will result in the model receiving a bill for $90 to reimburse the photographer for his preparation, time and effort. Makeup artists and hairstylists, if any, also will be encouraged to bill the model for the time they invested.
