Janet Hollywood, at your service. I'm a freelance makeup artist in the Massachusetts area. I tend to have a morbid perspective, thus my current and strongest focus lies in Special Effects/Horror/Fantasy makeup. I've done work for local haunts and zombie-themed events for four years, and beauty makeup six. I began simply with beauty and fashion cosmetic work, having always loved the ability to create something different each day, with endless possibilties using colour, shape, style, etc. I also love creating looks inspired by pin-up & alternative modeling, drag makeup, and any sort of extravagant fashion. This passion has provided a strong foundation for my work.

As of now, everything is self-taught and determined through trial and error, until I can begin school in the next year or so. With many wonderful schools out there, very little for this line of work is offered in the Bay State. With that being said, I'd like to take the time to build my portfolio with other local artists, and with that rates and compensation may vary. I'm quite flexible, open to new ideas, and willing to provide all my energy and talent towards your event. Whether it be prom, bridal, photoshoot, or ooky spooky haunt, I'd love to assist!
