ASYLUM FX & MAKE UP ARTISTRY:


I do not consider myself as just an MUA, i work with the face, skin and body much like a painter uses a canvas. In many cases most would say that i am not your average every day make up artist. If you have a vision i am sure in some way that i can and will create it to a high standard. This is not me being big headed, it is me just knowing that i will find the right technique to get a look that satisfies any client i have. I have been doing make up art for the past four years and i have came up with some incredibly unique work so far. I would love to add more to this portfolio by working with great people to inspire people around me.



How I work:

I use all kinds of media's, models who wish to work with me do be pre warned i do use facial glues, textured and weird objects upon the face and body to create the looks in which people need/want. I am very deep when it comes to make up and i will use pretty much anything i feel will look amazing to add a special finishing touch to the make up. I do not use the big brands, it is expensive and in some cases is not the best to use for elaborate make up pieces. I prefer to be at one with the rest of people in today's society. Using everyday make up to show people just how effective the looks can be if you search for the correct products in the right stores. To many this will sound unprofessional, to me, it is just a way of surviving and also doing what i love.

I do not do special effects work and bodypainting unless people have patience with the work, such elaborate themes can take up to four to five hours to do, sometimes much longer depending on the idea you have. Please do not book me for a short shoot and expect a large detailed make up job :)

All models that i work with are required to bring their own foundation when working with me. This is to save time getting the exact colour type for your skin so the make up can be done well and to perfection and the shoot will be in full swing sooner to not keep anyone waiting.


Terms and Conditions:

I do charge a set rate which is just for users of Purple Port and Model Mayhem. My rate for half days anywhere from one hour to three hours is £30 in total for full day anywhere between three to six hours or more the rate is £60. The reason i do not charge as much for my time upon shoots as most make up artists is because i do not wish to put anyone out of pocket, i just want people to appreciate the work i do, i spend all money upon future projects using this money i get from shoots to pay for materials only. For big elaborate body painting arts and special effects make up i charge around £80-100 as this is all created, molded, painted by hand. I do not do anything using machines. It is very time consuming and hard work with the expenses being high.



I am more than happy to work with models and photographers for test shoots and for TF shoots if the locations,photography and models are highly experienced and can get some amazing images for my ever growing portfolio of work.
