Crystal has built a solid foundation for her career by working in some of the most respected salons in New York City. In the beginning of her career, she worked under Susanna Romano, co-owner of Salon AKS. Combined with intense training, having the opportunity to watch Susanna so closely is what gave Crystal the ability to turn her vision into a reality and provide her clients with unparalleled customer service.
However she had been craving more, something innovative and fresh. She moved to Butterfly Studio, owned by Kattia Solano, arguably one of the most talented editorial stylists of our time. There both Kattia and Orlando Pita taught advanced classes for the stylists which gave Crystal the opportunity to expand on her styling skills.
While in New York, she built a very devoted clientele, which to her was more like an extended family. Crystal’s hairstyles have rocked the runways of major fashion designers such as Yves Saint Laurent and Gucci. She styled celebrities and politicians such as Christie Brinkley and Jeanine Pirro.
Crystal’s free spirit and desire to meet new people encouraged her to move to Los Angeles. She packed up her car and drove cross country to explore this new city filled with opportunities. She soon found herself working for the Joseph Martin Salon in Beverly Hills, where she services clients part time, between, freelancing and starting her own business, Salon2U. Crystal is pioneering the industry by taking housecalls to the next level with an at your door salon service.
