My name is Morgan Hall. I am currently a Masters student at Western University working towards a M.A. in Kinesiology with a Specialization in Coaching. I have been a track and field athlete for the last 10 years, until my recent retirement from the sport. For 4 consecutive years I competed at the National level in long jump, competing and training with the most successful jumps group in Canada.
I have began coaching the sport about 4 years ago, and am about to start my first year with the varsity team at Western.
The most important goal, in my mind, for all my athletes is to learn the importance of strength and conditioning, not just for the sport itself, but as a lifestyle to improve their total health and wellness.
My ambition is to encourage and inspire other females to become strong without the fear of “looking unfeminine” or “less beautiful”. I aim to steer them away from wanting to be ‘skinny’, and rather to encourage their health and fitness. I truly believe that weight training, running, or any other form of conditioning is an ideal outlet for all individuals.
