ACV photography is a NYC based company specializing in actor headshots and comp-cards as well as life-style print, corporate/professional portraits, dance shots, babies and family portraits. There are a few things you can expect if you shoot with me. I believe that the best portraits are those that capture the subject in a truthful and interesting way. A successful headshot should accurately capture what you look like on a great day while also highlighting your individual beauty and personality. If you are not actively engaged in the photograph it doesn’t matter how good you look. I will work with you to keep you engaged and present in all the photos so that you have many options to choose from. The goal is to end up with pictures that represent who you truly are, and have fun in the process. My pictures are representative of their subjects, they are laid back and natural- they are honest and revealing in the best way possible. They are by no means glamour shots and I will never put you in front of a backdrop with harsh studio lights on you. I shoot outside on location in Williamsburg and Manhattan, I use only natural light because I believe it to be the most flattering and also the most honest way of capturing a subject. The most important thing is that you view the session as a collaboration.
