About Me
Hi, I have been shooting off and on since I could hold a camera straight and decided to make it mostly on now. I have a lot of experience with landscapes, seascapes and cityscapes, and need more with people. So I am here looking for models. Since this is a portfolio builder for me, I’m very open to TFP work in all styles. You can contact me via this page, my Facebook page, or web site where you can also see some of my other work. I enjoy shooting outside or on location also.
Artist's Statement: Pictures are magical. They stop time and carry it forward, capture and evoke emotion, all the while taking viewers places they have never been even as they remain in their comfort zone. Pictures tell stories impossible to express other ways and often a single image or collection will tell different stories -- to different people and, the same person at different times. To capture and express that enchantment I begin each project by visualizing the entire scene and then deciding which part of the moment and scene I want to explore. I really enjoy night photography as the light draws shapes that frame many little scenes in the camera eye. Often getting the one shot you see involves hours of travel, capture and processing. Hey, I'm interested to come to America in future but at the moment while traveling is still difficult, I am offering remote shoots afternoons on Wednesdays or Mondays Melbourne time until March 8th. I'm currently working with another photographer to do these shoots but I hope in future to get my own gear and do more on location remote shoots. I have a CBD apartment with a rooftop balcony, large natural light windows, a range of backdrops, props & can use the buildings facilities of a gym, spa, pool & sauna. My rates for remote shoots would be less than what I charge for in person shoots. Let me know how many hours you would like me to quote you for and if you like to pay by PayPal or a bank transfer to my UK bank or AUS bank. We would tether the camera to the laptop and screen share so you can control the settings/shots & we could chat over FaceTime or WhatsApp during the shoot.
