About Me

I'm a performer and artist looking to build a portfolio of images that I can use for self promotion, I'm also interested in being involved in making art images. I've done some work on the other side of the camera as a photographer and make-up/sfx artist and would now really like some images of myself for both my work life and for when I'm old and wizened, stoned and living with 23 cats.

I have a decent collection of costumes and sew my own, so if the concept and shoot appeal to me enough, I'll even costume for it. I can do my own hair and make-up.

My preference is for lush images on location (I love Annie Leibovitz and re imaginings of period oil paintings, gorgeous natural settings etc)- or carefully lit studio shots (I love a photographer with a deft hand at lighting) I'm very patient and I'm willing to put the work, thought and discomfort into making it work well. My hair is naturally red and almost long enough to sit on and I can add funky coloured streaks to it on request.

Happy to do work for decent sized images, i.e. high resolution and retouched/finished/developed.

I have and will do nudes, but the artistic, creative lighting, interesting body posture, often in black and white kind. If it's intended to hang in a gallery, lovely, if it's for a men's magazine that's outside of my interest- it's more about quality and intent than about what you can or can't see. Love eroticism, but hate predictability :)

I'm slow to judgement, rational, tell a decent joke and tend to get on with people well. I don't mind clambering around locations, being physically uncomfortable and climbing trees etc as long as we get a great result (although I do burn easily, so out of the sun please- I draw the line at marks that last longer than a week and I am very white and burn faster than you think I will).

Skills: I'm learning to tango with my partner and going to Latin dance lessons. I can roller skate, sing opera, face paint, make balloon animals, touch my own shoulder blades, do a pretty impressive back bend, am learning the Cello, have hyper mobility (very bendy) and probably a few other weird things I can't think of right now.

This August I have been selected to take part in the RAW Fashion Showcase at The Manning Bar in Sydney. RAW is an organisation that brings like minded people together to network and display their art at regular showcases around the world.

I am looking for a model who is comfortable to be a roaming model showcasing a Gatsby themed partial body art. I have attached a link to a mood board so that you can see the direction I am trying to go in.
