Garrett Crawford is a professional dancer based out of Salt Lake City, Utah, primarily focused in the style of locking.Garrett stated dancing at an early age, learning jazz and ballet technique from his mother and sisters. But his passion for dance grew in 2009 when he became interested in different styles of Street Dance, especially locking. Garrett has since gone on to take Master Locking classes from Greg "Campbellock Jr." Pope, Jimmy "Scoo B Doo"
Foster, ShockaLock, Steve "Sugarfoot" Notario, Frank "Sundance" Sams, and Fluky Luke. Garrett has traveled across the US and Canada competing in locking under the alias LockStatic. Notable competitions Garrett has competed in are Hip Hop International 2010 and 2011 (Top 8), Juste Debout USA Prelim 2011 (Top 8), Last One Stands Canada 2011(Top 4), and All The Way Live 2010(Top 8). Garrett has also trained in popping, jazz, ballet dance styles and has an all-around love for all dance styles and is excited to train further.

Garrett lives to be on the stage since a young age. When he was 10 he was cast as the understudy of Oliver Twist, in the local community production of "Oliver Twist" in his hometown of Vancouver, Washington, Garrett also Played Johnny Casino in his High School production of "Grease". Garrett has since to gone on to dance and perform on stage in Salt Lake and at NBA halftime shows for the Utah Jazz, with his dance crew NOIZ and The Urban Dance Organization. Garrett performed in Bonnie Storys "Expansion" show in both 2010 and 2011, and other local community shows in Salt Lake.

Garrett also has a great love for singing; he was in Choir through all of Middle School and all of High School in Vancouver, WA. In High School Garretts Choral group participated in the Heritage Music Festivals in Seattle 2004, New York 2005, and Vancouver, Canada 2006, where they placed with honors. Garrett went on to sing in the Salt Lake Community College advance Choir for 2 years.

Garrett is striving to be the best Locker and professional dancer he can be. He understands the importance of hard work, professionalism and knowledge of history that has been passed down to him from the many greats he has had the opportunity to take from and work with. These are all things that he is grateful for and is proud to pass down to future generations.
