For this project I will shoot a series of portraits starting with a full head of hair ending with no hair. And then some fun shots in between with fun/crazy haircuts. The idea behind it is to reflect on how much hair is part of your personality. And how changing or losing your hair affects how you perceive yourself and how others perceive you. The shown example image is something I shot ten years ago and it's not indicative of what I’m trying to achieve here, but it will be along those lines.

To take part in this shoot you need to have a decent amount of hair right now and be willing to lose all of it. Eyebrows are optional. I’m looking for both female and male models. A qualified hairdresser will be on set. After the final edit I will do prints and I will ask you to write something about the process and the result.

I will shoot in June in my studio in London (E17) - exact date to be confirmed. On the day I would like to photograph 3 models, and there will be 3 hours allocated per model. The modelling fee for this is £100 for around 3 hours. If you have to travel from outside of London but would still really like to participate then let me know and perhaps I can help towards travel costs.

I’m also looking for a hair stylist for the day who is capable and interested in cutting the hair on a model within 3 hours from start to having no hair at all, and several in between fun haircuts. It will be a long day, probably from around 8am until 6pm. The pay for this would be £150.
