Jamie grew up in southern California her whole life. As a little girl she would bang on pots and pans on the floor of the kitchen. She was so greatly influenced by Travis Barker of the band Blink 182, that the following year she picked up a guitar,a bass guitar, and a drum set. After a couple of years playing she finally decided upon the drums, since thats what she truly fell in love with. Since then she has stuck to it. Jamie started off self taught until thirteen,when she was put in drum lessons for three months. After taking some lessons, she decided she wanted to do everything on her own with her own style. Jamie began performing at the age of fourteen in a band that she formed called Freedom to Fall, they were booked in a range of cities and even countries. Freedom to Fall began playing by the shore in Huntington Beach, Where they hit the front page of the newspaper as,“A Hit on Main street”. After the band parted ways, she began booking shows as a solo act, free styling to top 40 songs. Jamie gained exposure from her performances as the only female solo performing drummer and was nominated musician of the year by RAWartists. She was discovered by Nylon Pink, an all female Asian pop rock band. Jamie and her band have been up for many musical awards and are now touring worldwide and seen in magazines, on radio stations, on television, and all over the web.
