I was a shutterbug from early on in my life and even with my little 110 cube flash camera at the age of seven I was taking better photos than my father with his Leica. I received a Nikon F90 from a girlfriend before a trip to Europe with the promise I would bring back a piece of what I see. She was a bit surprised that I chose black and white film and sent me off with some amount of skepticism. Her doubt was dispersed when I returned and she looked the imagery over. In the years since I have been an avid hobbyist but recently took the step into the professional world. Mostly I shoot faces and places but popular demand has brought me to shoot Models and Fashion. I also shoot Chicago Nightclubs; Stereo Nightclub is a regular client. I owe my honed skills to Stan Malinowski who was my neighbor for many years when I lived in a loft in the West Loop. I hope this sight will give me the chance to mix with the many professional photographers and models making their way in the world; I am sure they have a lot of knowledge to pass on. Then there is the business end of this where by I take photos and someone pays me for doing so. I hope Model Mayhem will prove a good resource to advance my trade.
