Joel Rull used to be a makeup artist for MAC Cosmetics Phils. He has been working as a Professional Makeup Artist for 4 years now. He has done a lot of wedding, debut, beauty and fashion photo shoots for with some top photographers. Not to mention, fashion shows, pageants and other events.


He is a Certified Makeup Artist through Makeup Design Academy and studied Beauty and Fashion Hair and Make-up Training. This course teaches the skills to create the ultimate illusion of beauty and fashion makeup for special events, print and video. Also, he took Photography and High Fashion Makeup with Intermediate Hair styling. By completing this course, he learned advanced makeup for Photography and high fashion makeup for runway, print, television, and film, and the skills for corrective makeup. He has acquired the necessary skills required in designing and applying high fashion and avant gard makeup. He took seminars and workshops in different cosmetic brands, and had training for COSMOPROF-Asia in Hong Kong 2010.


The cosmetics industry has had a lot of changes through the years and still keeps on evolving. Proper skill is needed to be able to fully utilize and appreciate the beauty we get from it.
