I am basically an art photographer and I was lucky enough to go to university and study art photography and came out with a degree. My unique personal style of photography produces photographs that are strong, full of drama, spontaneity and natural raw emotion and results in fashion, editorial and advertising commissions, and I am a full time professional photographer.

Most of the time I make dramatic photographs of unknown people on the street and love exploring realism as a concept as opposed to the manufactured studio shoots; I just prefer real locations and environments, they have more feeling and are more challenging compared to a white backdrop.

A lot of what I do is project based, so for instance the main project I am currently working on is titled 'The Voyeurs', for this I am playing with the idea that 'voyeurism' as a concept has migrated onto the internet with the advancement of technology, and we now want to be seen, some in anonymous or limited ways via an alias, upto the grand exhibitionist. For this I'm exploring both the physical, and mental planes of being a voyeur, as well as being watched and our digital lives and our identity - some of which is mundane, clothed, semi clothed, nude or erotic or a mixture.

I also have some 27 years as a professional photojournalist as my background and like to incorporate interesting concepts, where photographs really start to tell a story. The projects and narratives are to be self published in a forthcoming book with a possible exhibition and occasionally sell prints to collectors.

As well as digital cameras I also use a mobile phone, and an array of analogue gear. This can be anything from polaroid (if I can find the film!!) as well as a mixture of lighting. Occasionally I use a mixture of media, audio and video as well as traditional art materials for sketching, and paintings.

As a photographer I am very interested in people, in all their form and the human condition, which is common to us all, regardless of race, religion and culture. Things like food, drink, sex, children, pregnancy, life and death are all concepts I am hoping to explore a lot more this year.

I am a very easy to get on with type of person, patient, funny and really easy to work with and love collaborating with other creatives and explore the ideas they have. I am happy to work with newcomers and experienced alike and I have been around long enough to give honest advice and help if its needed.

Although I mostly choose the people I work with, I do accept TF if I feel it could benefit us both, so don't be frightened to get in touch. In which case I offer to give 10 images chosen by myself and the model at the end of the shoot which are then touched up and sent to the model for their portfolio. I am also happy to make photographs that the model wants such as fashion and headshots etc as well.

I need a variety of models, male and female thin and larger, young and old with a wide range of abilities and levels, like being able to walk down a street to fashion and art nude.
