My name is Terri and I'm a McKenzie College of the Arts graduate and I have recently relocated back to Toronto Ontario from Moncton New Brunswick.

For as long as I can remember there has always been some form of camera in my hand, ever since I was very little. I love the ability to capture a moment in time forever. With todays technology I love the ability to take a moment and make it so much more than a simple flat picture.

So, why am I here? What am I looking for?

While I have a keen grasp on my camera and techniques I still consider myself very 'green'. I joined MM when I first started my course in search of models to work with for projects. It worked, I met with and shot some very cool people and had a blast.

To me the process of learning never ends, practise practise practise!
So I am still here to meet models to work with. I'm always looking for a mentor to take me under their wing and assist me on the path to being a better photographer.


What do I shoot?

Just about anything really. However what really gets my bacon sizzling are high energy, crazy entertaining shoots. Story telling in single or multiple shoots, images that will make people spend more than 30 seconds looking at it, admiring the tiny details as much as the whole image. I like to play with light, as well as angles to give different vibes to different shots.

Special effects make-up/prosthetics (Any students learning SFX & need images for their portfolios -standard & scene- PLEASE give me a shout :D)

Bodies in motion - Parkour, dancers, Boxers, skate boarders
Fitness - Body builders, Martial artists, MMA fighters
Bands - Live shows, Album art, portraits, Covers etc.

What do I want? What do you get?

Right now I'm offering Time for prints (Digital copy) or Time/Prints for trade, to build up my portfolio and practice my techniques.
However, If you'd like to pay me, of course I'd graciously accept.
I tend to take a LOT of pictures during shoots so chances are the model would end up with quite a few finished shots. :) If I tinker with more later on down the road I usually send them to the model as well.

The rights of the photos would remain mine, unless otherwise agreed upon.
Both Myself and Model will be able to use the image(s) for personal portfolio use.
Models are required to sign a simple release form.
Models posing nude, implied or suggestive are required to show ID for proof of age.


Please note: Currently I am available for location shooting on weekends only.
I am without studio while I am in the transitioning phase of getting my
own place and studio.


About the photographer:

30 year old female photographer, pierced, inked, crazy coloured hair.
Born in Oakville, raised in the GTA, moved to NB for 6 years and now back in Toronto. WOOO! Life's a trip :D I'm enjoying the ride.
Moderately traveled, easy going, fun loving and not afraid to try new and crazy things.
Total geek and proud of it.
