35+ years as a freelance photographer / writer / journalist for various magazines & newspapers. Done just about everything with a camera. Traveled to over 18 states and two foreign countries taking photos for magazines.. (as part time weekend work), and was going to go full time with it, when retina detachement left me legaly blind. Surgery has retored my sight, but I've had to start from scratch all over again as a freelancer. I want to do modeling and other types of photography to regain my former skills and techniques. I've spent decades using my camera to record events and project ideas.. but now I'd like to use it to make art. I'd love to assist local aspiring models with location shoots in Memphis TN region and do modeling shoots... I regain my skills and begin networking in a new area. I don't have a studio as of yet (but I can rent space in a local building until I'm able to afford one again.. three years on Social Security Disability will do that). I've got a normal job.. but want to do photography full time when I retire.

I'm more than happy to shoot models 'TF', You receive all copies on a disk (along with some ones modified so you can post them on this website), Free 8x10 of what I consider your best photo, and a limited release of copyright (gives you every right but to sell them). I treat all models, regardless of experience level as professionals and welcome them to bring friends to chaperone or get test shots for themselves. However, if you want to have the photos exclusive (you own the rights.. you get all the copies): My rate is $25.00 per hour plus expenses.

If you want a pro to shoot your photos for Maxim's "Hometown Hotties", I will sign the paperwork allowing the use of my photos and will consider most other of those type of requests except "Suicide Girls".

For all models under 18.. the parent/legal guardian MUST BE PRESENT AT ALL TIMES.. that's a rule I never break and they have total control on the final shots.. if they don't like it for any reason.. it's deleted forever.

I'm open to most any type of session (as long as you inform me of your wishes ahead of time.. I'm open minded about my art, but when I'm concentrating on my photos.. I'm intensely committed.), and am adamant about getting the proper permits (when necessary) I specialize in turning a concept photo into a masterpiece worth hanging on a wall, either as a poster or framed photo. I can be rigid about certain poses, but welcome models to improvise because the cooperation between model and photographer brainstorming ideas have led to some amazing shots.

Oh and one last thing, because it come up in so many model statements.. I'm not looking to meet anyone or hit on anyone. I'm a happily married man of 27 years with six grandchildren (not to mention...bald, grey haired, wears glasses, and wrinkled like an ole prune).. if you think that's sexy.. YOU need therapy
