I'm a New Zealander who graduated with a Bachelor in Photography early this year and jumped the ditch to try my luck in a new and exciting environment. I've been told my images are like memories, spooky and warm. There is definitely a sense of nostalgia to my work, which reflects the world through my eyes (or my lens!) I love making people feel and look good, while also conveying a concept or emotion. I really try connecting with the models, seeing into their souls a little bit, so I can best express their personality and beauty. To me, fashion photography is like fine art. A beautiful story for your eyes with secrets only you can see or feel. Like any art, it's objective. I'm very good at using natural light, and adore shooting amongst nature. I'm inspired by foreign films, anything vintage, childhood memories, colonial paintings in big gold frames, golden sunlight, crazy weather, beautiful minerals, and stories about mythological creatures, amongst other things.
