I am realist painter living and working in Northern California's Russian River Valley. My work is represented by the Fischbach Gallery in New York. http://www.fischbachgallery.com I have also worked as an illustrator for National Geographic magazine, and in the motion picture industry as a Special Visual Effects Matte Artist, winning an Emmy Award and an Oscar nomination. I received my Master of Fine Arts degree from UCLA in 1980.

My current work includes a series of large scale oil on canvas figurative paintings. Drawing and painting the human figure with understanding and grace is a life-long journey in which there is always more to learn and experience. As artists throughout history have done, I turn to the model for inspiration; to see truth in form and movement; to find beauty in body and soul.
