I've done extremely little in the ways of real photography, but I very much enjoy the tension between earnestness and self-conscious irony that being photographed requires. My facial features can mold themselves in and out of any configuration they desire for each given moment, be it dapper, devilish, earnest, inhuman, mischievous, giddy, villainous, or just plain odd. I have a great affinity for visual humor, but that doesn't exclude my ability to portray seriousness on the same level. I'm fairly fit, having just gone through the P90x program. I thought modeling would be an enjoyable way to utilize the great visual variety that I'm capable of.
