Not very active on here since my business is based predominantly on photo shoots for just the average person rather than working with models.

ABOUT ME
I'm a Townsville (previously NSW) based photographer and retoucher, with more than 10 years experience in paid photography and retouching. Currently shooting professionally for boudoir, glamour and maternity, though still love the odd project outside this if it is with fun people or for a concept I'm inspired by. For the last 5 years I've mainly been shooting swimwear, lingerie and implied/fine art nude for profiles, catalogues, boudoir and glamour projects. Prior to that was shooting mainly maternity, weddings, and adventure sports. I believe photography should be about empowering your subject and creating meaningful genuine images, while having fun and a bit of a laugh of course. If anyone involved doesn't really want to be there then, whats the point!

All the photos featured in my portfolio are of non models encouraged and guided to pleasing poses and genuine successful shoots. Some are anonymous (even though most of what I shoot is not) because non models don't necessarily want their identity online and I need the occasional image for online display.

I'M OFFERING
For a short time I'm offering TFP photographic boudoir style shoots to Townsville and Cairns based models for the purpose of increasing the number of images I have available specifically for advertising use.
Where I have spare time and you or your project is inspiring enough to convince me to shoot for free then I'm happy to consider other limited TFP, if it's not something that I'll find creative or challenging enough I'll only shoot paid.
Happy to shoot in any style or theme you prefer as long as it's something interesting, if your not an ideas person but would like to collaborate then feel free to communicate that and we can work out a style that will be both fun and suit your personality. If you have a crazy idea/theme I'm willing to work with you to try and capture the images you desire.

SHOOT POLICY
No partners as chaperones! If you really feel the need for a chaperone then bring one of the same sex and ensure they know that they will need to be out of the way but willing to assist (holding reflector type deal) if requested.
Communicate clearly what you want out of a shoot and what your boundaries are. Lay out your expectations clearly and I'll do the same, prior to a shoot. During a shoot I'll be giving directions, let me know clearly (i.e. with words) if, you have an idea/pose you'd like to try, or if something is too strenuous or uncomfortable in anyway. Our Art is a collaboration, which works best if we aren't miss-communicating.

NOTE FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS
Lastly if you are a far Nth Queensland based photographer wanting to collaborate on a cool project just let me know, although same goes in the pay department, happy to help on a project that is a labour of love, not so much to help you earn your $. Photography is work, I don't expect my mate the plumber to come and do my plumbing or teach me to for free, you shouldn't expect a photographer to come and do their work or teach you their trade for free either. I'm keen to network but want to avoid your stress as much as my own, photography is meant to be enjoyable! Which is why I stopped shooting weddings.
