[[Juan “Chino” Zapata]] took his first dance class in Medellin, Colombia at the age of 10. He enjoyed dance so much that he knew this was what he was born to do and has been dancing ever since then. He has explored and trained in a variety of styles from hip-hop, to contemporary, and even ballet, which have helped him identify himself as a dancer and a person. He was the founder, director, and choreographer of a Queens based dance team known as World Class Dancers.He has also toured and choreographed for Don Omar’s latin group “Marcy Place” on their 10 city east coast tour. In 2010, he co-produced LPAC Dance Competition where he also choreographed/created the GaGa Project performance. He has also danced and choreographed for E.P.I.C. Motion and has taught workshops in NYC. He has danced in Dennis Caindec’s “Pleasure Pagoda” at 2010 ECDC, showcased at Sybarite with UPak, dances for Stryke Force Ent., and is continually training at Broadway Dance Center, The Pulse On Tour and Monsters of Hip Hop.
