With over 30 years experience as a photographer, I've had my own studio in Nottingham since 2005. My favourite aspects of photography are producing portfolios, PR headshots, pet portraits, boudoir and art nudes. I try to be creative with each shoot I undertaken in order to keep it fresh for myself and my clients. When I'm not shooting commercially I try to organise as many model 'test' shoots as I can as a way of keeping my portfolio fresh and up-to-date, and also for trying out new equipment or ideas. These can be one-to-one sessions, or I regularly get together with a few colleagues and shoot together, we've done quite a few over the last 18 months both in the studio and out on location. Although I do advertise locally, I'd like to expand my search for suitable models with the advantage of being able to choose the right person for any given shoot as and when is convenient for me; Model Mayhem will enable me to do this.
