Hi there! My name is Stephanie Joyner, and I am currently a Photography and Design student here in Portland.

I have a real passion for Portraiture and Beauty photography. I focus majority of my photography around expressing emotions, whether it be dramatic or subtle. If it makes the viewer think, then I find that a success. I find beauty in everything, whether it is something tragic or uplifting. There are always stories to tell and photos are a great way to express them. The human face is just remarkable, one look/expression can have so many meanings. I love creating photos that can be interpreted in multiple ways.

So about me personally - I consider myself very quirky. I am super bubbly and I love to laugh! I am quite a dork and I love being around people who are the same. However, all that aside, I do have a deeper side to me that most people find surprising, which is where most of my inspiration comes from in my portraits. I like to think that the people I'm photographing are resembling different parts of me.

I am a hard worker, and despite my silly nature, I like to remain professional. I think strong communication is incredibly important, so expect me to be sending lots of confirmation messages as well as call sheets if there are multiple people involved. I only expect good communication from you as well. I am extremely understanding and know that things come up when we aren't expecting them to. I don't enjoy, however, people that do not give me an official yes or no if they are available for a shoot or not. Generally when that happens I will just move on and find someone else to cover the position.

With that said, I would love to find models that have lots of energy and confidence. Since I am still building on my portfolio, Trade for Prints are welcome!
