Xiaoyan Lin started her women's clothing design career in China in 1989. A few years later, with her own factory and 5 retail stores all over China, she became the first famous fashion designer in China. She first visited the United States in 1996 and decided to sell her business in China and move to the US. Now, her line of contemporary women's wear is sold in hundreds of boutiques all over the country.
