My name is Gary Meyer and I am a student at NC State. I have been practicing photography for about five years now, and I have learned an incredible amount about all things photography. I really love shooting portraits because I think that both the photographer and the model experience something every time they look at the image. Portraiture, in my opinion, speaks more to the viewer than most other images.

I shoot with light. Rarely do I do any shooting with available light. I like to really plan out shoots and know what I'm going for before I do it. I do this because I don't like projects to fail and because I would like to make a career out of commercial photography in several years.

I do have a lot of experience with shooting portraits, but I have run out of friends to shoot. It turns out that not everyone is just begging to model, at least not on Facebook. If anyone is looking to expand portfolios, practice, or just do some shooting some time, let me know, I'm very open to doing TFP shoots. On the other hand, if you like my work and you need a photographer for a paying job, I would be very excited to work with you.
