Friends (187)About Me
Hello and welcome to my Model Mayhem page! I am primarily a singer, actress, and model working in the beautiful city of Seattle, WA. I'm also a host and dance fitness instructor (a quintuple threat in all). I graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre, Magna Cum Laude, in 2009.
I've been acting my whole life with extensive training and on stage experience in college where I was the lead role in such musicals as “Grease,” “The Music Man,” “Cats,” “Peter Pan,” “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” and numerous others. Since then I switched my focus to Film/TV/Video and was acting in several independent local films, student films, studio films, and music videos in my home state of MN. My strongest suit was with the commercial and industrial market appearing in National Commercials for Great Clips, Rapala, Best Buy, Hydrolyze, ShopNBC, Sanford-Brown University, International Academy of Design & Technology, and local commercials for Grain Belt Beer, CRAVE Restaurant, and McAllister’s Deli. My Industrial credits include Thompson-Reuters, United Health Care, Best Buy, Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Sanford-Brown University, and MCTC. In addition, I was the host for Pro-Wrestling America, Target Field/St. Basilica, and played Jessica Rabbit for Sidney Goodman's 90th B-day party (a major distributor for Hamm’s Beer). I enjoyed being a lead vocalist in the band, "The R Factor" (formerly known as The Rupert's Orchestra; Managed by Marsh Edelstein), as well as performing in the Traveling Regional Tour Show "Divas Through The Decades” (through G.L. Berg). I've been singing since I was a little girl starting out in my church band, later singing in musicals in high school and college and then also singing with several cover bands and original groups in the Twin Cities. I also sang Alto in my college Jazz Singers ensemble of six. I began modeling in college. I was a recurring face for ShopNBC (the National Homeshopping Network) and was one of the very few models selected for Skinn Cosmetics by Celebrity Makeup Artist Dimitri James and Crystalift for Suzanne Somers. I also modeled in several National Ads and Videos for Target, 3M, Great Clips, US Bank, ShopNBC, Canopy, Belkin, and Aveda, as well as many Regional Ads for Wilderness Dreams Catalog, Dillinger Pin-up, Sportsman’s Guide Catalog, Len Druskin Clothing Line, Bales Clothing Magazine, and CRAVE Restaurant. You can see me on the “Love in Disguise” book cover by Carol Cox and the "Hadassah" book cover (printed by Bethany House Publishers). In addition, I've done many Runway shows and promotional modeling bookings for Macy’s, Posh Bridal Couture, Anheuser Busch, Maxim, Captain Morgan, and Target Field. Most recent runway shows were in Los Angeles with Wella and J Beverly Hills. I have also studied dance at Dance Express & Dance Conservatory of Southern MN, and 4 years in college learning Tap, Jazz, Modern, Musical Theatre, Hip-Hop, Pop/Funk & Ballet. I've had formal training with many local and nationally known industry professionals including Lesley Kahn, Ivanna Chubbuck, Sherry Henderson, Sandra K. Horner, Richard Raether, Robert Westenberg, Kerry Marsh, Michael John LaChiusa, and Jason Buyer with The Casting Playhouse. Special skills include doing the splits, the moonwalk, and the worm! I do a little songwriting and play piano, guitar, djembe and I can also drive a motorcycle! Since my move to Los Angeles, I've been in several music videos including ones for The Darkness, The Lost Prophets, Tournament of Hearts, and Dan Black. I've also been in several commercials including ones for Jenny Craig, Sanford-brown, Party City, BWW's, Volkswagen, Alfa Romeo, Serv-Rite, New Amsterdam Vodka, Puma (with Funny or Die Production Company), & Harrah's Casino. I've also hosted in several informercials and industrials for Marz Sprays, Exfolimate, Lumber Liquidators, and Hyundai. For television, I was on an episode of "Criminal Minds" as Hotchner's son's 3rd grade school teacher. I did a promo for France 2 and one for American Idol as well. One of my informercials was played on an episode of ABC's "Shark Tank," and I was a recurring super heroine and super villain in the webseries, "Heroine Legends." I was also one of the female vocalists in the corporate event band, "Haute Chile," in and around southern California as well as traveling to national & international locations. I used to teach Billy Blank's Jr's "Dance It Out" and Zumba classes all over So Cal as well. You can also see me in the movie "About Last Night" starring comedian Kevin Hart, and in the Halloween episode of Modern Family. As if this isn't enough, you can also find me all over your local Walmart and Sears shelves on the Polygroup Pool Products packaging! Never a boring day in my life!!! Now, however, I am living life in the gorgeous pacific northwest in Seattle, WA where I co-run an event and wedding band with my boyfriend, Jeff Heiser. We are called The Afterparty Band. Check us out at: afterpartyseattle.com I'm still singing occasionally with my brother's vocal group, 7th Ave as well.
