I have a keen eye for the unexpected and have been able to capture some amazing shots. I have been using various cameras my whole life but never took serious consideration until purchasing my first body a few years ago.

Much to the annoyance of some of my friends I don’t go anywhere with out my camera, even at IHOP at midnight after work when we are dead tired and don’t want to see a camera. I am finding that I seem to have a talent for finding that candid moment, catching people when they think no one is looking at them, and then anticipating what happens next.

Finally, my favorite pictures tend to expose the dark underbelly of our fair city. That rock, that if kicked over, might show a side to a city that most people have never seen or think only exists in movies. I like going to the scary parts of town and trying to capture something that no one has ever seen. That maybe a burned out building, a shooting a drug bust in progress, or life’s tragedies. Its so easy to capture the happy moments, but the dramatic ones tell a story. Life is real, raw, and grimy. Why try and hide that?
