Lakisha, Freelance Beauty Artist from Philadelphia PA has been art inspired since she was a young child. As a child she drew cartoon characters. As she became a teenager she became more into the beauty of art and design. She began crafting her techniques by practicing on her own hair, nails, and makeup at age 13. She then started on family members and friends. Which quickly turned her into a little business woman as a teenager.​​

Lakisha has taught herself the various techniques of Makeup Artistry, Hair Artistry, Nail Artistry, and Beauty Products as well. She keeps up with all the new trends in the industry. Lakisha's desire and drive to succeed in the beauty artistry industry will one day make her a Beauty Artistry Icon.

To keep her technique and skills current she continuously attends beauty classes and seminars. Lakisha is a graduate of Empire Beauty School which has opened up even more doors for her future endeavors. She is definitely a great Beauty Artist to watch out for.

​Lakisha was always into fashion and design and stayed ahead of her time with her fashion, style, and creative abilities.​

​She is a very talented and smart young lady. She is very professional and you can tell by the way she speaks about her career and dreams that she loves what she does. She is an aspiring Beauty Artist for the stars and is a star herself.

Her eye for detail, color, creativity, and perfection makes her work very unique. Lakisha believes "when you look beautiful it builds your confidence to a level you never thought you had."

Her favorite part of what she does is the satisfaction and thanks she receives from her clients. "I love the end result of the projects I work on." Not only is Lakisha a makeup artist she is also a writer and a mother of one daughter. She is currently writing an inspiring novel.​
