Anthony 'John' Byrne is a British internationally-published alternative fashion and still-life photographer, currently based in the UK.

Anthony John graduated with a B.A. (Hons.) in Photography in 2004 from Surrey Institute of Art and Design University College, where he studied photographic theory, history and criticism under David Campany. Since then he has worked in and around the photographic and publishing industry. Although his heart lies mainly with the visual aspects of the industry, he has also accumulated experience in copy writing/editing, data management and graphic design.

In 2014 he cofounded a fledgling content creation company specialising in producing and delivering dynamic content for alternative retail and consumer brands. Anthony John hopes to use his cumulative experience to help solidify the team’s place within a competitive market by heading the innovative crew of experts covering content creation, content management and content distribution.

Before 2013 Anthony John’s photography was mostly seen on promotional or retail websites and in catalogues but in that year he began exploring more of his own concepts and was published in print and and e-magazines, including Alt Girls Magazine, Cosmopolitan UK, Kultüre Magazine, Alternative Revolution Magazine and Fet-X News. He is now looking towards submitting exponentially more editorials as well as aiming to secure a front cover. He is also looking forward to contributing more narrative sets to a well-established online community which celebrates alternative beauty and indie culture from all over the world.
