Hey there,

My name is Rebecca Deere, 25, friendly, hard working kiwi :)

I am currently mid way through a Diploma in Specialised Make-Up Services at Swinburne University in Prahran, Melbourne. The broad range of skills covered in this course layout has helped me build a solid foundation for any further endeavours I wish to pursue within the make-up industry.

Although academically I have not pursued make up until now, I have always actively involved myself in this amazing industry through work experience and opportunities provided through friends and contacts. I have worked on music videos, media related photo shoots, runway and have even done some modelling myself.

At present stage I am unsure about what field I want to focus on after I finish at Swinburne, therefore I am extremely opened minded and determined to give everything a go hopefully leading me to find a certain aspect of the makeup world that I am strongly passionate about.

I ultimately would like to gain as much industry experience as possible. Either by working solo, as an assistant or simply observing.
