I like to try new photo ideas with models before I offer them to my clients.
Hence, I'm mostly looking for models who can handle their own poses, this allows me to focus on the phototechnical issues of whatever it is we're trying to do.
Normally we'll try 4 or 5 different concepts on the same shoot, so it's no disaster if one of the concepts doesn't really work. At least now we know it doesn't work ;)
But hey, 9 times out of 10 everything works out great, I'm getting pretty good at it :)
