Thank you for visiting my profile! I am Brittany, and I work as a personal trainer (bodybybrittany.com) in Florida. I have had several recommendations to incorporate my proficiency in fitness and athletics with fitness modeling. So, I am pursuing it in attempts to provide society with images of strength, health and wellness. Over the past several years, the media has experienced transitions between healthy body images to those that required sacrifices in health and well-being to achieve. It was a difficult decision for me to pursue modeling, because I try to disconnect my fitness goals from outer appearance and focus more on intrinsic goals like performance. I have years of athletic experience, hence the importance I place on performance. I competed as a collegiate athlete in cross country and track while receiving my Bachelor’s in Biology, and then I got involved with strength training while getting an M.A. in Sport and Exercise Science. I hope to continue expressing my love for health and wellness promotion through modeling. I want my viewers to see an image of the hard work and self respect of one who focuses on a life of wellness, but more importantly, I want my audience to know my desires are to promote qualities beyond myself (something that can encourage others to live better lives).
