Nicola Parsons is an AIPP Accredited Professional Photographer. While studying fine art at university, Nicola developed a relationship with the camera as a tool for capturing moments in time. Since graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in 2008, Nicola has worked as an in-house photographer for a variety of Australian Studios honing her skills in the art of portrait photography.

With a passion to create her own style and technique, in 2011 Nicola set up her own independent studio in the heart of of the Gold Coast, specialising in elegant, artistic portraiture, utilising lighting techniques from a bygone era to create unique works of art.

At the same time, Nicola also set up Gallery on the Lane, the only photography gallery on the Gold Coast. The gallery is non-commercial and was set up to give independent photographers a space to show their works with monthly exhibitions, creating a hub for like-minded people.

The portrait studio is accessed through the gallery and is a fully equipped and functional space. Here your make-up and hair are styled over a cup of coffee in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
