I am looking to expand my typical line of photographic work from just combat sports and martial arts to include more portraiture as I tend to shy away from human subjects outside of martial arts. I am looking to photograph both on-site and in the studio to add to my professional portfolio so people can see what I am capable of doing outside of the MMA cage and kickboxing ring.

I began photographing in first grade, upgraded to using a film SLR in third grade, took my first photography class in 2000 at a junior college, graduated with a BA in Photography in 2007, got my first digital SLR as a graduation gift. My educational background is a combination of informally self-taught and formally learned photographic skills. I can create an image from start to finish. Starting with the point of mixing the chemistry for photosensitive liquids to apply to a surface, exposing and developing film, exposing and developing prints, in black and white, and in color, with a particular fondness for pre-photographic and alternative techniques such as cyanotypes, platinum palladium, cross processing, toning, etc. And I can do digital. I have experience across genres and settings, know how to use studio lighting, and have access to a studio.

I don't want to get rusty in my less used skills, so I have checked all genre boxes. I want the practice and I want to make a portfolio, something I should've done a long time ago. If it's something I haven't done in a while or am not used to, that's exactly what I want to do and practice.
