In my work with portraiture, the resultant photo facilitates a chronicle of that individual. Some cry out to share it while others attempt to hide it and still others may want to reveal only a small part of it. What is being revealed? Who is this person? Where is this person from? What is this person thinking about? A portrait can express a thousand stories. Every viewer looks and creates a unique version. We are bound by our experiences, sometimes stereotypes, or perceptions from the media, that all contribute to how we perceive each other and define ourselves.

You are born in the capsule that you are in and absorb your environment. What you share with the people around you is your gift.
