Matthew Heckerling works both as a fashion photographer and a Director of Photography for feature films, commercials, and music videos.

As a still photographer, Heckerling has shot for a number of stylists, clothing lines and agencies and has been featured in Idem Magazine, Hartiska, and won the Digital Photo Pro Magazine Emerging Pro Competition in Fashion.

As a DP, his most recent film - "Shadow People" starring Dallas Roberts (Walking Dead, The Good Wife), was recently released on Blu-ray and VOD. Other films include "The American Standards" starring Golden Globe Winners James Brolin and Joanna Cassidy, "Crazylove" starring Reiko Aylesworth (24) and Bruno Campos (Nip/Tuck), and "Left In Darkness" starring Monica Keena (Entourage), David Anders (Alias, Heroes) and Jessica Stroup (90210).

His most recent commercial was for Ilatii Cosmetics. Music videos include Green Day, Perry Farrell (Jane's Addiction), Sammy Hagar (Van Halen), Black Stone Cherry, teen pop star Tiffany Giardina, and Nickelback.
