Takayah Norris is a hairstylist and fashion designer that has cultivated her creativity through the beauty industry. She is currently the owner of Royalty Hair Palace Salon in Orlando Florida, where she helps men and women discover their very own personal look and style.

She developed her skill as a hairstylist at a very young age in her hometown of Chicago, Illinois and later attained her cosmetology license from the International Academy of Beauty in Daytona Beach, Florida. As she continued to move forward in her gift of hair styling, she began to have a desire to venture into the fashion world and started to design and create her own clothing. She studied fashion at the International Academy of Design and Technology in Orlando Florida, where she discovered that she wanted to be able to make over the whole man from head to toe. So, hair and fashion became intertwined in her ultimate vision.

Ms. Norris is not only an innovator of new trends in fashion and beauty, but is also a positive role model for her community. Her message to young women and men is one of encouragement, letting them know that it is ok to be yourself- and that it’s important to not just be dressed up on the outside, but to be content with yourself on the inside. In her words, “Everyone is born with a special uniqueness, but it takes the right person to see it and pull it out- and that is where I come in”.
