I’m a relative newcomer to photography. I’ve had some success in event photography and more-or-less casual portraits over the last few years, and I’m working to expand and hone my skills in creating more formal portraits, and really in all sorts of portrait situations. That’s why I’m here: to meet people, men and women, in the San Francisco Bay Area (I’m also in the Seattle area from time to time) to sit for portrait sessions.

I tend to like, and I aim to create, fairly simple portraits in a somewhat classic style, which means that I tend toward black and white and, more and more, I find myself shooting film. (But I also shoot digital.)
