I am currently engaged in complimenting my portfolio with additional male and female model portraiture and artistic work, thus further extending my field of photographic experience into the domain of human model work.

Most of my current expertise revolves around astrophotography (low light long exposure work through telescopes and fast lenses) so my technical knowledge of equipment, technique and post processing is reasonably advanced.

My primary reason for registering on this site is to get in touch with models, artists & cosmetics experts willing to do Trade-For-Photo work, in return for their permission for me to use the results to improve my human model portfolio.

My current experience includes being the official photographer at numerous weddings, hundreds of product brochure photographs, a series of photoshoots with personal friends as models and a series of extensive street / party photography around the world. I have also completed my first professional modelling shoot in Ibiza, Spain during August 2012.

Since I am incapable of painting or sketching very well, my creative ambitions include using the camera to capture the colour, contrast & shape of the hair, body and clothing accessories. At this moment I am particularly interested in high colour contrast makeup and clothing shots, as well as edge highlighted, body shadow profile shots with understated props, such as linear/circular boxes and non-linear organic elements. The emphasis will be on indirect lighting & the use of shadows and highlights to romanticize and celebrate the models form.
I am also interested in the creation of challenging "freeze frame" action shots, especially of jumping, hair flips & athletic movement. In my experience these types of shots breath energetic life into what would otherwise be an inanimate image.
