Currently a Commercial Director, Amy Demas began her career as an editorial Art Director for the rebellious and groundbreaking magazine Sassy. Amy helped launch Jane magazine, followed by a complete creative reboot of the iconic YM, where she won numerous awards for her work and leadership.
Soon, her many accolades brought her to Peterson Milla Hooks, where she created integrated TV and print campaigns for Target, including many of their designer collections, such as Proenza Schouler, Fiorucci, Isaac Mizrahi and Behnaz Saraphour. Later, Amy joined Victoria’s Secret where she developed seasonal creative concepts and executed countless photo shoots. Her love of fashion, beauty, retail and brand marketing led her to launch Los Angeles based creative agency Standard Time in 2008. For three years, Amy led the creative at Standard Time for clients such as Stila Cosmetics, CVS/pharmacy, DC Shoes and Williams Sonoma. While helping clients innovate online, she discovered her passion for concepting and directing online content along with traditional avenues to support overall brand strategies. In early 2012, Amy decided to combine the two things she is most passionate about—directing and art direction. Today, she brings her unique creative experience, keen eye for style and tireless drive to every project she takes on. Amy is currently directing fashion, beauty and lifestyle films.
