Hi - my name is Sierra! 24yr old photographer, been photographing for 6 years now.

My photography strives to: challenge ideas of beauty / document raw emotion & body language / capture unusual and oddly captivating subjects

This involves: experimenting & exploring / not being afraid of looking "ugly" / pushing boundaries / getting out of the traditional idea of performing & modeling and just being yourself in front of the camera.

I'm straying away from the high fashion / world of manipulation to create honest, minimalist portraits that rely on emotion & expression. This works the best when the model is a participant and we work together to create his/her own story / what he/she wants to say with the photos. My work strives to be more of an experience rather than simply creating a pretty picture.

I'm open to working with models of ANY experience, though being a woman of color, I am especially drawn to representing women of color, since we are underrepresented in the media. Also looking for models with unconventional looks / body types & models who are looking to expand their portfolio (TFP)
