Detroit Native New York based Make Up Artist Dominique Jenelle is a true visual artist. With a background of fine and performing art, early in life Dominique had a niche for sketching. By accident Dominique found peace and passion in Makeup Artistry. Not because it was a trendy career choice, but because she was born to fulfill this destined talent. Self taught, and still learning, Dominique has been able to relocate from Michigan to New York City! She has worked in Film, Musical Performance, Promotional and Editorial. Her style is a myriad of designs as is any true artist, yet there's an apparent strength in Beauty and Abstract Makeup Designs. All that have worked with Dominique have all said the same pleasantries of her professionalism and personable warmth on set. (Must be a Midwest Thing)
With ModelMayhem as a tool there is hope that the next two years will be a testament of great collaborations and a newly defined portfolio. The ultimate goal is to conquer the great Film Industry, signed with an agency. The journey is just as important, New York is now home and there's no place on earth more inspiring.
