Been shooting for about a year or so. I believe that the number of years does not lead to the amount of experience you gain, rather its the amount of time spend within a year learning. I have done multiple shoots, mostly outdoor to inject virbrancy. and covered events, weddings, birthday parties, conferences, etc to boost my portfolio.
