Hi, my name is Alan. I currently work full time as a mental health nurse but am hoping to take my hobby of photography to the next level. I want to turn professional one day and hope that MM will help me build a great portfolio as well as increase my 'exposure'.

Working in mental health i am used to bringing out the best in people and as a photographer i intent to bring out the natural beauty in those that i photograph. I am often inspired by beautifull things in life, whether it be a landscape or person. Sometimes the beauty that i see is not always obvious initially to others, but it is for this reason that i believe my photographs can bring this beauty to the fore and illustrate someones best features .

I am outgoing, adventurous and easy going. I feel it is important to put someone at ease and make them feel comfortable in front of the camera. Its a wonderfull feeling showing someone a photo of themelves that they really love.

I am looking to shoot a variety of models, in a variety of styles to build a varied and interesting portfolio. If i can help out any models whilst doing so then this would be a fab bonus !
