Hello my name is Carolyn Baker; I am 23 years old, born September 25. I am currently a student athlete at Dillard University. During my high school years, I was highly recruited by various top colleges/universities to play volleyball. I decided to attend the University of Memphis over all the other universities because of the coaching staff and the success of the program. I felt like they were missing a significant piece and I was that piece to the puzzle that was needed to take our team to the top. While playing at the University of Memphis, because of the success of our team, I was awarded a trophy for the All-Freshman Team, which is the best of the best of my peer group. I transferred to the University of Wyoming for a year then decided to come closer to home. I now attend Dillard University where I play volleyball. Outside of playing sports, I coach younger girls and help with different teams that request my advice in both basketball and volleyball. I feel this is my way of giving to those who have talent and need a little encouragement to force the talent out of them. I have always had a passion for modeling along with hearing I should be a model all my life, but never pursued my dream until now. I feel now is my chance to pursue a modeling career because I have the time to devote to the perfection of my career. Modeling is something that has giving me a second wind. I feel as if I can work in the industry I would be a great asset. I am a very outgoing person and feel as though I can get along with anyone. Everyone was made to do something in their life and I feel modeling is what I was made for. I love everything it stands for and cant wait to be apart of it and help others in more ways than one.
