Barry Hackett, 29, is a pictorial style portrait photographer as well as the Editor-in-Chief of the digital travel blog BackpackingBarry.com. He specializes in experimental style strobist photography, portraiture work, fashion, as well as event and editorial style travel photography.

Barry’s pursuit of photography and journalism took a more focused turn in 2010 when he began to commission his own self-funded international photography assignments. Covering more than eight countries in the last year Barry has been hard at work at the development of his craft.
