My name is Justin (or Peach), I've been taking portrait photos for about seven years now with my trusty Canon Rebel T1i. I started in Afghanistan simply taking odd pictures here and there, but it quickly developed into more than a hobby when I began reading books, practicing in my spare time, and taking local classes on the subject.
Since the start I have shot six different full length wedding shoots, taken part in more than 50 personal portrait shoots including many couple shoots, and done close to a dozen senior portrait packages. I specialize in taking candid photography and mostly shying away from preset poses. I enjoy drawing out the emotions of my subjects during shoots, whether that be something intense to capture the eye, or a genuine captured laugh.
Typically my work is pro-bono. I'm in it to have fun and boost the portfolios of each party taking place. For larger events such as weddings, parties, or other difficult events, I will charge a small fee based on the amount of work asked of me. I will occasionally bring along a friendly assistant to help with equipment or to cover more ground with a second camera.
Now its been a few months since I've taken my camera out of the bag and I'm getting antsy, so I'm here on Mayhem in hopes of finding clientel here in Providence. Please feel free contact me if you would like to get together for a shoot.
